How to find us
Cheddar Gorge cleaves apart the hillside north-east of Cheddar village, allowing the B3135 to climb 900ft in 3 miles through Britain’s most dramatic landscape to the top of the Mendip (Hills) plateau. Cheddar Caves are at the bottom (south west) of the Gorge.

TRAVEL BY BICYCLE

 
National Cycle Network Route 3 crosses B3135 at the top (the“head”) of Cheddar Gorge near Priddy.

“The Strawberry Line” cycle path follows the old railway line from Yatton to Cheddar.

The Somerset Levels, lying to the south of the Mendip Hills, is a wonderful area for cycling holidays.

The Mendip Hills have a well deserved reputation for challenging mountain bike trails.
